- An armed home invader was shot and killed by police after a standoff in Long Beach Friday night, authorities said. The home invasion occurred at a residence in the 6800 block of Cerritos Avenue near 68th Street around 8:30 p.m., preliminary information indicates. A man inside the home had called 911 to report the male suspect breaking in before he was confronted by the suspect, who brandished a weapon and ordered him to give him his belongings.

How did he just sit there after he heard banging on the door? This happens so quickly and laws say that we must keep our fire arms unloaded, locked with a chain and stored away where it is difficult to access?
NO, you must educate your loved ones and the people around you about fire arms safety, safe handling of fire arms and remove the curiosity from kids so they respect the fire arm and value life. This teaches responsibility and accountability which allows you to safely keep a loaded weapon readily accessible to protect you when you least expect it. Criminals do not have a schedule and attack when they expect you to be the most vulnerable. Wake up people.

They targeted that home because that’s the only nice Block in the neighborhood. North Long Beach is full of dangerous people just a lot of them get locked up and I bet they are just getting out of jail.
